Laurent is the CEO of SCASSI, an engineering and consulting firm specializing in information systems and security of embedded systems. SCASSI is a European cybersecurity company, present in Toulouse (headquarters), Paris and Madrid.

Laurent is one of the biggest experts in cybersecurity. He obtained a master degree in architecture from information and communication systems in 1997 by Paul Sabatier University in France (Toulouse). He is Lead Auditor ISO 27001 certified and ISO 27005 Risk Manager and specialized in Common Criteria. During his career, Laurent has been working on security audits (organizational, functional, physical, technical), information security methodologies and standards (ISO 27001, EBIOS, Common Criteria (ISO 15408)), risk analysis, definition and implementation of security policies, security architecture and technical security deployment, for different customers across Europe. Laurent has been a professor for university students since 2006, and is speaker of many awareness campaigns for industrial companies on security issues. Leader of a European R&D project in Education and Training called Risky Knowledge (Leonardo da Vinci Program).

Finally, Laurent is very active in professional associations in the world of cybersecurity: Former President of Regional Security Systems of the Club, who is now a member and administrator of Digital Place Cluster and the Regional Representative of the CCI (Center of Cybersecurity Industrial) in France.
