TACIT participates in the V International Industrial Cybersecurity Congress
TACIT presents the developed tool to more than 200 professionals
As part of its activities, the Industrial Cybersecurity Center (CCI, www.cci-es.org ) organized the V International Industrial Cybersecurity Congress, a benchmark event for the cybersecurity market, a meeting point for knowledge and experiences interchange and for building relationships among every stakeholder in this environment.
The event was held at the Meliá Avenida de América hotel in Madrid, bringing together 200 professionals from the industry.
During the congress, several international experts have visited the TACIT exhibit where the tool was shown, enabling them to assess the scope, the usability and the usefulness, etc.
Additionally, Mr. Jose Luis Díaz and Alberto Domínguez, consultants of the Security Area of Everis presented "TACIT - Tool that simulates Cyber-attacks on Running SmartGrids" an 18-month project that involves the consortia formed by D'Appolonia, Everis, Tecnalia and CCI.
José Luis Díaz started his presentation by showing different types of attacks on Smartgrids that exist and the identified priorities, based on which the objectives of the simulation framework were established, that will allow for best practices to be put in place, developing a simulation method that is completely based on standards.
Alberto Dominguez was in charge of the second part of the presentation, offering a detailed view of the components of the tool and the simulation process.
