INTECO Launches a course in Industrial Automation and Control Systems Cyber Security

Starts on October 27 in order to provide cyber security experts with the necessary expertise in automation and control systems

 

This course, in which interested students can already enrol, was created by INTECO, the institution of reference with regards to the development of cyber security and of digital trust for citizens, for RedIRIS (the Spanish academic and research network), as well as for businesses and sectors of strategic importance.

The training, which will begin on October 27, has been designed and developed in collaboration with leading Spanish organisations in the industrial and cyber security fields. Moreover, it counts with national and international experts of renowned prestige. Both things ensure the course includes the required content as well as the experiences and recommendations of the most qualified professionals in the international scene.

Being aware of this reality, INTECO supports the advanced course in Industrial Automation and Control Systems Cyber Security, which aims at stimulating the cyber security market of automation and control systems, allowing for the training and qualification of future professionals.

Miguel Rego, General Director at INTECO states: “This course is integrated in INTECO’s Programme of Excellence in Cyber security which is a strategic axis of the Digital Trust Plan of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism“. He also adds: “the Excellence Programme leverages the high value capabilities and the privileged position of INTECO and aims to train cyber security experts in order to help them achieve levels of perfection and incentive as highly qualified professionals in the field.

This course will help meet the objective of the Digital Trust Plan of building a competitive market of services and of international reference in cyber security,” said Miguel Rego, General Director at INTECO, and adding “this training will help increase the professional skills necessary to transform society and create a culture in cyber security.”
