Santiago G. González

Santiago G. González, has more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in Systems Architecture. Currently, he develops his functions as a Cybersecurity Specialist in Operation Technologies (TO), CR | CYS |PRO |, Corporate Technology Cybersecurity Protection in SIMENS. For 7 years he has been developing his work as an industrial cybersecurity analyst in the National Center for Infrastructure Protection and Cybersecurity (CNPIC), giving lectures in different national and international events.

His studies completed:

  • PhD student from the National University of Distance Education in Systems Engineering and Control (Industrial Computing-Industrial Cybersecurity).
  • Inter-University Master's Degree in Control Systems Engineering. Universidad Complutense de Madrid (U.P.M.), National University of Distance Education (U.N.E.D.) and Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (C.I.E.M.A.T.).

  • Collaborator with NATO CCCDCOE through an international body and a project called "ICS Vulnerability Research and Pentesting" for a period of three months, 23 September to 23 December 2019.

  • He has led the team of industrial cyber security in the European e-Exercises Locked Shields 2014, 2015 2016, 2018 and 2019 Exercises contains and Industrial Control System (ICS) structure built with Siemens 1212C AC/DC/RlyPLCs.
