Internationally certified in security, management and risks of Information Technology and SCADA systems, Winner of "Americas Information Security Leadership Awards" in the category "Senior Information Security Professional" offered by the largest international professional organization of information security: (ISC)² and highlighted as Antioquia's Junior Outstanding then, of Colombia in 2012 by the Junior International Chamber within the Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Program. With advanced English studies at Yale University.

With more than 15 years of experience he has been, among others, KPMG Colombia international consultant on issues related to information security for the public and private sector. He has developed from vulnerability testing to management systems that provide information security techniques, procedural and human for large companies and economic groups in Colombia. He has been a speaker in numerous national and international events, including invitations as an expert of the Organization of American States, the European Union and the for the Industrial Cybersecurity Center in Spain, he has lectured in undergraduate, postgraduate in public and private chair universities. Currently he is working on ISAGEN S.A. E.S.P where he is responsible of bussiness information security and participates in incorporating risk, control and IT governance practices based on international standards. He works in different scenarios to improve Colombia's national cybersecurity in different areas mainly related to national critical infrastructure. He is the leader of the cybersecurity group that defined the cybersecurity guidelines of the Colombian electricity sector, based on NERC CIP standards. He was invited as an expert by the defense, ICT and Justice ministries of his country to commit national technical assistance in cybersecurity, as well as speaker and expert panelist on multiple events, and has organized the cybersecurity conference for the Colombian electricity sector.

He has training in security information, incident response centers, computer forensics and SCADA system security by prestigious institutions such as ISACA, ISC2, Black Hat, Carnegi Mellon University Software institute, SANS institute, US Secret Service, United States Department of Homeland Security, the US Department of Energy and the American States Organization.

He was awarded with the Hallmark Recognition of the National Intelligence Police Direction of Colombia in 2012 due to his contributions in training the institution members.
