Raúl Rivera is a Bachelor in Systems Engineering, Master in Telematics and Master in Business Administration with Emphasis in Finance, with more than 24 years of professional career.

He has extensive experience and knowledge in the application of best practices for Enterprise Risk Management, Process Improvement, Information Technology Government, Business Continuity, Systems Audit, IT Service Management, Project Management, Information Security, Cyber Security, among others.

Throughout his professional career, he has worked for important transnational companies such as Acer, Unisys, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and BAC Credomatic Network, where he currently works as Deputy Manager of Integral Risk Management. In addition, he has had the opportunity to collaborate as a consultant for several organizations in Central America.

He has served as professor and director of the university degree in Systems Engineering, for private and public academic institutions in Costa Rica; as well as exhibitor at the level of Costa Rica and Latin America. He has taught the official course of ISACA Fundamentals of Cyber Security on 8 occasions, of which two of them have been at Latin CACs events and one for the Panamanian government as part of the program for the creation of strategic plans of Cyber National Security, agreement between ISACA HQ and the OAS.

He holds international certifications in Fundamentals for IT Service Management (ITIL) of the OGC, Information Systems Audit (CISA), ISO 27001 Leading Auditor of BSI, IT Governance (CEGIT), Risk Management Systems (CRISC), Information Security Management (CISM) and Fundamentals in Cyber Security (CSXF) of ISACA. Additionally, he is an instructor certified by ISACA International, for the Fundamentals in Cyber Security course.
